SSR Performance

Seeing this shops social media presence and the people they sponsor had deceived me in the beginning. I’ve had more bad experiences with this shop than good. I have put off writing a review for a long time but I don’t wish to anymore. One of the main issues I encountered was after SSR installed my rain light diffuser. Shortly after install, I had a friend call me after they saw me on the road with a tail light out. Due to their shotty wiring job, my rain light and right tail light were out until I could get rescheduled. Second, after having my stock exhaust re installed after I got a ticket, they left the remus exhaust hangers on with the stock exhaust which made it rattle like crazy after a couple days. I waited in the waiting room for approx 3-4 hours until they brought the car out with exhaust fixed… 3-4 hours for a small job that should have been made a priority. Now to last week. I was out at the track and mid session I hear a BOOM. Was stuck in limp mode, couldn’t figure out what was going on since I had SSR upgraded chargepipes, so it couldn’t have been those I thought. I found out today, the SSR UPGRADED charge pipes had blown off on the bottom side. Ruined my track day and I was stuck in limp mode not knowing what was wrong until I had another shop diagnose what happened. SSR recommended me their charge pipes because of how often the stock ones pop, yet theirs did the exact same thing!! I have said and always said, you can tell they take better care of cars that are owned by friends of the shop and super cars, not as much M cars and others in the same realm.

SSR Performance is hands down the best performance shop I have been to. I have taken my BMW M340i to them twice and will continue to do so, as well as take all my future cars there. Mark, Rod & the SSR team give an experience that is unlike any other. They give consistent updates about your car, a great breakdown of everything, extremely fair pricing and most importantly the quality of work is unmatched. I originally took my car in to have a Valvetronic Designs exhaust installed and the job was done absolutely perfect & quickly. I live about an hour and a half away and was going to have difficulty getting my stock exhaust back home. Mark & Rod went above and beyond to source delivery of my exhaust to my house. The second time around, I had some performance mods, side skirts & paddle shifters installed and they did an absolutely terrific job. While my car was there the second time, I also asked them to check out my carbon fiber rear diffuser as a local shop in my town originally installed it and they did not do a proper job. The shop local to me blamed it on the fitment of the diffuser itself. When i told Mark this, he said they should have taken the bumper off to have it installed properly. The SSR team did just that and the fitment of my diffuser is now perfect. Mark and the team went above and beyond to make sure my experience was terrific and have my car look & perform great. Can't say enough about this place. Not only did they do excellent work on my BMW which effectively made my M550 nearly as fast as an M5 for just a couple grand, but specifically the GM Mark has been exceptional throughout the process. He has graciously answered my questions promptly and elaborately every single time. They were even recommended to me by my BMW dealer, which again proves how awesome they are. Highly recommend to come here when you want quality work at a reasonable price! I certainly will be back, as well

SSR truly is the best performance and auto body shop in Southern California From an oil change and spark plugs to a fully custom 1000hp fire breathing 720s they can not only do everything but beat the standard with their exception focus on attention to detail. The staff is always on top of things and I was updated throughout the entire process, never had a loss in communication. Highly recommend them for anything car related

This is THE SHOP. I have been to majority of the shops in OC/LA area and I have never left there fully satisfied. It’s always some excuse everytime you go pick up your car. SSR Performance however is far from that. They offered me the best service at the most competitive prices. They run a very professional operation. Communication is the biggest thing with them and they will keep you in the loop about everything. You’re never gonna walk in this place expecting the unexpected. I'm thrilled to share my amazing experience with SSR Performance! These guys are hands down the best in the business. My 2018 BMW M4 got the royal treatment not once but twice, and I wouldn't dream of taking my future cars anywhere else. Mark, Rod, and the entire SSR team know how to make you feel like a VIP. Plus, their pricing is more than fair, and the quality of their work is truly unmatched. The first time I rolled into SSR Performance, it was to get a killer Fi exhaust installed on my M4. My second visit to SSR Performance was equally incredible. I decided to treat my M4 to some extra upgrades, including performance mods, sleek side skirts, and paddle shifters. And boy, oh boy, did they work their magic again! My M4 now handles like a dream and looks like it's straight out of a car enthusiast's fantasy. But here's where SSR Performance proved themselves as true experts. Just like the previous review, I asked them to check out my carbon fiber rear diffuser, which was previously installed by a local shop. Those guys didn't do a proper job, and I was frustrated. But Mark assured me they'd fix it, and they sure did. Taking the bumper off and installing it right, the fitment is now perfect. I can't thank them enough for going the extra mile to make sure my M4 looks and performs at its best. Kudos to Mark, Rod, and the whole SSR team! They turned my car into a beast with that Fi exhaust and those awesome upgrades. My 2018 BMW M4 has never been happier, and I owe it all to SSR Performance. SSR Performance is by far the BEST auto repair and performance shop I've been too. They went above and beyond to make sure the entire experience was smooth and seamless as possible. My car was damaged in a accident with left side completely bent in and damaged in addition to the driver side rim and wheel. When I got it back it was brand new! They made the repair process from drop off to pickup so easy and seamless compared to others that will take your car in then make excuses about repair process. All the people there are super passionate about what they do! Super professional and friendly! I wanted to specifically thank Shah the owner for making it such a pleasant experience. I will be a lifelong customer! If you are in Orange County or anywhere in Southern California, I would definitely take your car there for your auto repair or performance modification needs!
